PHECC Accredited Training:

Paramedic Training Programme

This programme is run in association with the School of Medicine, University College Dublin (UCD)

Programme is 28 weeks minimum duration and includes:

  1. 9 weeks theoretical component
  2. 4 weeks supernumerary on an emergency ambulance
  3. 2 weeks supernumerary placement's at healthcare sites
  4. 12 weeks rostered placement's
  5. One week Trauma Life Support Course

Programme is followed by Clinical practice Internship of one year and includes professional development requirements and competence assessment

Successful candidates are awarded the PHECC NQEMT at Paramedic Level, the Diploma in EMT (Dip.EMT) from UCD and a Certificate of Completion from NASC

Entitles candidates to register with PHECC at Paramedic level
